Who we are

Information you submit

• Contact details: your name, email address and phone number.
• Depending on the enquiry form, your property or project address, organisation, role, requested services, project description and scheduling preferences.
• Optional residential details, such as your electricity bill range, electric utility, roof age and preferred callback time.
• Your choice about contact concerning the enquiry and your two separate, optional text-message choices (non-marketing and marketing).

Technical information

The form includes the submitting page URL and title, referring page, campaign parameters and submission time. Network requests to the hosting and form-delivery services also disclose connection information such as your IP address and browser request headers to those services. Avoid including passwords, payment details, identification numbers or other sensitive information in your message.

How an enquiry is used

The information you provide is used to understand your request, identify the appropriate service and contact you about the enquiry. Submitting a form does not create a project agreement or commit you to buy a service.

Form delivery and service providers

Submitting an enquiry sends the form data from your browser to FormSubmit, a third-party form-delivery service. FormSubmit sends the enquiry by email to Soleil Energy’s inboxes. A copy also goes to theStacc, the web agency that runs this website, for support and testing. The website is hosted on Cloudflare Pages and serves font files from the same website. These providers receive the information needed to deliver their respective services. This website does not currently send enquiries directly to Zoho CRM.

Chat

Most pages load a chat widget supplied by GoHighLevel (LeadConnector), which acts as a service provider for Soleil Energy. Loading the widget sends your IP address and browser details to that provider. If you use the chat, the messages you type and any details you give are received by Soleil Energy through its GoHighLevel account. The widget may use cookies or browser storage to recognise a returning visitor and keep a conversation going. It is not loaded on the confirmation pages shown after you send a form. Google Analytics, described below, is loaded on every page, including those.

Cookies and analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4, loaded through the Google tag, to count visits and see which pages and enquiry forms are used. When you visit, your browser sends Google information such as the page you viewed, the page that referred you, your browser and device type, your approximate location and your IP address. Google Analytics sets cookies named _ga and _ga_ followed by an identifier, which can last up to two years, so that it can tell a returning visitor from a new one. When an enquiry is sent, the site also records that a form was submitted, with the name of the form and the division it belongs to. It does not send your name, email address, phone number, address or message to Google Analytics. Google acts as a service provider for this analytics and may use the data as described in its own privacy policy. To opt out, you can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on from tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or block or delete cookies in your browser settings. This website does not currently offer a cookie preference banner. Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels and call-tracking scripts are not installed. Text-message preferences

Each enquiry form includes two separate, optional choices: one for non-marketing text messages from Soleil Energy, and one for marketing and promotional text messages. Neither is selected for you and neither is required to submit the form. The website records your choices and sends them with your enquiry; it does not itself send text messages. If you receive texts, reply STOP to opt out, reply HELP for assistance, or contact us to change your preference. Message frequency varies, and message and data rates may apply.

Stored enquiries and deletion requests

Submitted enquiries may remain in the form-delivery service, recipient mailbox and records used to handle the enquiry. This website does not automatically delete those external records. Contact info@soleilenergycorp.com to ask about retention, request a correction or request deletion. The request may need identity verification and review of any records that must be retained for the project or applicable requirements.

Contact preferences and privacy requests

• You can choose not to submit a form and contact us by phone instead.
• To ask about information you submitted, correct it, request deletion or change your contact preferences, email info@soleilenergycorp.com or call (301) 953-4140.
• Include enough detail to identify the enquiry, but do not send sensitive identification documents unless a secure method has been arranged.
