EV Charging

Home chargers and commercial installs, wired properly

Our electricians install EV charging for homes, workplaces and fleets across the Mid-Atlantic.

What we install

What we install

One charger in a garage or a full car park of them. We also do the electrical work that has to come first.

  • Home charging

A charger in your garage or driveway, on its own circuit sized to carry it.

  • Panel and service upgrades

Most older homes need more electrical capacity before a charger goes in. We do that work ourselves.

  • Workplace and fleet

Banks of chargers, with the power distribution and metering behind them.

  • Solar and EV together

If you’re putting in solar anyway, the charger costs less to fit at the same time.

  • Load management

Where capacity is tight, controls stop the chargers fighting the rest of the building for power.

  • Permitting

We pull the permits and handle the inspection.

Our approach

How the work runs

  1. Assess

We study the site and the load. At a home, that means your roof, your usage and your real electric bill. At a substation, it means a site and load study.

  2. Design

We handle engineering, drawings, permits and buying. You see the plan and what it involves before work starts.

  3. Build

Our crews install it, get it inspected and switch it on. We work around your day and the outage windows you can give us.

  4. Support

After handover we monitor, maintain and service the system. We look after systems other firms installed, too.

Does my panel need upgrading?

Often, on older homes. It’s the first thing we check. Better to find it at the assessment than on installation day.

Can you install a charger I already bought?

Usually. Tell us the make and model when you get in touch and we’ll confirm.

Can you do several chargers at a workplace?

Yes. It’s as much a power distribution job as a charging job, so our power division gets involved.

Can this be done with a solar install?

Yes, and it’s the cheaper way to do both. Much of the electrical work overlaps.
