Monitoring & O&M

Service that carries on after handover

Monitoring, maintenance and repair for solar systems across the Mid-Atlantic, including systems somebody else installed.

What we cover

What we cover

Most systems are sold hard and supported badly. Service decides what your array is worth in year eight.

  • Performance monitoring

We watch production and flag the gap between what a system should make and what it makes.

  • Third-party systems

You don’t have to have bought from us. We take on arrays that other companies installed and walked away from.

  • Preventive maintenance

Scheduled inspection of mounting, connections, inverters and combiner equipment.

  • Fault diagnosis and repair

Inverter faults, string failures, communication dropouts and the electrical work to fix them.

  • Commercial fleets

We monitor every site in a portfolio together, on one view.

  • Reporting

Production reports for owners who have to answer to someone else.

Our approach

How the work runs

  1. Assess

We study the site and the load. At a home, that means your roof, your usage and your real electric bill. At a substation, it means a site and load study.

  2. Design

We handle engineering, drawings, permits and buying. You see the plan and what it involves before work starts.

  3. Build

Our crews install it, get it inspected and switch it on. We work around your day and the outage windows you can give us.

  4. Support

After handover we monitor, maintain and service the system. We look after systems other firms installed, too.

Will you service a system you did not install?

Yes. That’s a large part of this work.

How quickly do you respond?

We agree response times with you for your site. A number published here might not apply to it.

My installer has gone out of business. Can you help?

Usually. Bring whatever paperwork you still have. If we have to, we’ll work from the equipment on the roof.

Do you monitor batteries and chargers too?

Yes, where they are part of the system.

Maybe it’s underperforming or throwing faults. Maybe nobody ever showed you how to check. Any of those is a fine place to start.
