Utility-Scale Solar
EPC for large-scale generation
Engineering, procurement and construction for utility-scale solar. We also build the substation and interconnection behind it.
Scope of work
Scope of work
One company builds the plant and the infrastructure that connects it to the grid.
-
Engineering
PE-stamped design, built to meet the interconnection requirements from the start.
-
Procurement
We buy and manage the supply of modules, inverters and balance of system in-house.
-
Construction
Our own crews do the work, from civil through to mechanical and electrical completion.
-
Interconnection
Substation, switchgear and utility coordination. The same division builds transmission assets.
-
Commissioning
Testing, energisation and handover, with the paperwork the offtaker needs.
-
Long-term O&M
Monitoring and maintenance once the plant is in commercial operation.
Our approach
How the work runs
-
Assess
We study the site and the load. At a home, that means your roof, your usage and your real electric bill. At a substation, it means a site and load study.
-
Design
We handle engineering, drawings, permits and buying. You see the plan and what it involves before work starts.
-
Build
Our crews install it, get it inspected and switch it on. We work around your day and the outage windows you can give us.
-
Support
After handover we monitor, maintain and service the system. We look after systems other firms installed, too.
What size projects do you take on?
Tell us about the project and we’ll tell you honestly whether it fits. We’d rather say no early than find out mid-build.
Do you handle interconnection?
Yes. Our own teams handle substations, switchgear and utility coordination from 600V to 230kV.
Can you work with our EPC or developer?
Yes. Depending on the project, we work as principal or as a specialist subcontractor.
Are you set up for utility and IPP contracting?
Yes. We hold CAGE 8HK07, we are SAM registered and we hold MHIC Lic# 133628.
